Clear braces cost a fraction of what they used to!

Call me back

Home  /  Braces - Dental News  /  Clear braces cost a fraction of what they used to!

If you’ve got crooked or overcrowded teeth, don't let the cost of solving it put you off. Here’s why.

Listening to the radio this morning, the news programmes were full of speculation as to what the forthcoming budget will have in store for us. And buoyed up by the fact that we’ll soon be facing into a general election, most political commentators believed that Joe Public will get a noticeable extra few bob in his pay packet as a result of the budget.

This is good news indeed, as it marks the first time in seven or eight years that the much talked about economic recovery will find its way into the pockets of the Irish population. Almost a decade of austerity has made huge inroads into the amount of disposable income we have at our disposal.

This has had implications for every sector of Irish business, as the Irish consumer has become more and more reluctant to spend, worried about what they future might hold. Thankfully, we’re starting to leave those dark days behind us, and consumers – including our own MyDental patients – are once again looking to the future with hope and confidence, and are prepared to spend again, subject to getting good value for money.

The value on offer for our Quickbraces patients

One of the areas where they’ll be pleasantly surprised at the value they get is in the area of dentistry – and more specifically, in the area of clear braces (also often referred to as invisible braces). In the past, if a child in the family needed braces, it put huge pressure on the family budget. And if more than one needed braces, the pressure was even greater.

Today, however, all this has changed. There has been a quiet revolution in the area of braces, and those old-fashioned train tracks are now a thing of the past. Here at MyDental, the new system of braces is called Quickbraces. And instead of having to be in place for two years or more, they do their job in around six months.

This means that patients spend far less time in the dentist’s chair, which means, in turn, that we can afford to charge you very significantly less than for the traditional braces. And there’s a whole host of other benefits as well, including:

  • They exert less pressure on the teeth and gums, so they're way more comfortable to wear.
  • They’re immeasurably more discreet than the older form of braces, which means that you can wear them with much more confidence.
  • They’re highly effective, especially if you have the top and bottom teeth treated at the same time.

So maybe it's time you got a quote from us?

If you or anyone else in your family suffers from crooked or overcrowded teeth, then maybe it's time you dropped in for a free consultation on what we can do for you, how long it will take – and what it will cost you.
